airABOUT US

Cineanywhere is part of Future Projections. Founded in 1995 and incorporated in 1997, Future Projections have grown from a business supplying and installing 35mm cinema gear to one of the UK's leading high-end AV and projection sources. Future Projections are one of four UK based DCI certified D cinema installers and are factory trained and supported to sell Barco equipment as well as Dolby, Datasat and JBL sound (to name a few !). We operate with a great team who are customer focused and passionate about film exhibition and making sure you are getting the most from your venue. We represent THX in the UK and Ireland.

We have been working in location and outdoor cinema for 30 years, and have supplied and designed kit for almost all of the UK's drive in and event-cinema operators.

Even before Future Projections, we were setting up movies on ferries in Auckland Harbour, or rigging New Zealand's first outdoor movies at Victoria Park Market. In the early 1990s we worked with City Screen to develop a number of 35mm based travelling movie kits, and later imported the UK's first inflatable screens. Future Projections went on to develop a custom range of 35mm and 70mm projection systems for events and galleries, and later moved into E and Digital projection as the industry evolved. Today we produce a range of kits from the simple CA501 to the industry standard CA2k.

Future Projections have specified, designed and installed more independent and art house cinemas than anyone else in the UK, including 90% of the Picture house chain..

Clients include Channel 4, The National Trust, BBC, Ford Motor Company, Barclays Bank, Working Title, Shetland Arts and NBC. We aim to have a collaborative rather than a more typical customer / supplier approach, and consider our works to be on the customer's behalf rather than a "sale".

Being UK based and with in-house CAD, design and both mechanical and electrical engineering facilities, we are well served to look after the venue - we have engineers based in London and Coventry and operate a 24/7 DIRECT service line to our engineering folk - no call centres here!
